AOP (Appellation d’origine protégée) Espelette pepper offers a well-developed essence that is used to enhance flavour. It can be used as a substitute for black pepper, and is mostly used with chicken, ham and veal. It offers the perfect balance of fruity and spicy aromas.

Interesting fact: Espelette pepper is not spicier than pepper.
